While at Stone Pigeon last night, I heard Ryk McIntyre do a love poem from a chupacabra. I'd already planned to do my Monsterpocalypse haiku, but I was inspired to write a fourth one on the spot.

Love is half monster,
and it's the part that looks like
us that frightens us.
